The Gerkens from Bad Zwischenahn in Lower Saxony have been running a mail-order business selling tiles and furniture from Asia for ten years. However, due to all the work, their two sons have been neglected, and their marriage has also suffered greatly from the business. In Mallorca, everything is supposed to get better. Olaf and Olena finally want to have more time. For themselves. Their love. And especially for their children.
But many have already emigrated with this hope – only to realize that a fresh start on the island is harder than expected.
