Coffee table made from a tree slice with glass „Series Clash“

Another major highlight of the new collections from „GERKEN Wohndesign“ is the coffee table from the „Clash“ series.
Tree trunks often have slight damage in the core that prevents the trunk from being converted into a coffee table.
„Why dispose?“, we thought, and turned necessity into virtue. In artistic detail work, the core is removed from the trunk for this coffee table. A glazier then creates a glass pane with a thickness of 10 mm to integrate it into the surface of the table.

For this coffee table, we selected a tabletop made from Suar wood. After sanding, the tabletop was coated with a high-quality furniture lacquer from a German brand manufacturer.
The table frame for the coffee table consists of three runners made of stainless steel, matte brushed, in the format (Width 40 cm x Height 30 cm). Additional table frames for coffee tables are available in our online shop at www.tischonkel.de your disposal. You determine the design of your coffee table. In addition to the stainless steel frame used here, frames made of cast iron in a vintage look, as well as various frames made of matte black lacquered cast iron, are also available. Almost all frames are also available in different heights, giving you the option to determine the height of your coffee table yourself.
