Unique coffee table made from a tree slice with a natural tree edge

Sometimes it is the simple ideas that yield the most beautiful results. In this Coffee table made from a tree slice case, we relied on a tree that was already very rotten inside. The soft part of the tree slice was removed and sanded by hand. Subsequently, a glazier made a glass plate to cover the hole created in the tree slice with tree edge . Finally, the wood was precisely routed along the glass plate to sink the glass plate into the wood. The resulting tabletop was then placed on three stainless steel feet to give the coffee table made from a tree slice the finishing touch.

Of course, the designer coffee table with tree edge shown is made from the wood of the tamarind tree. Unfortunately, we were only able to obtain two of these wonderful tree slices,… however, we are confident that we will soon be able to continue this idea. Unfortunately, we can only rarely offer coffee tables of this kind in our online shop, as they are sold immediately after completion in our exhibition.
