A special challenge is the design of a coffee table made of root wood, as the shape and structure are determined by nature in every tree root. The tree roots come from reforestation areas in Indonesia, where they are extracted from the soil to make room for new trees. Through our activity of giving these roots a new purpose, we give the sustainability of our furniture a new meaning. In our company, we completely refrain from using tropical woods,… we believe that recycled wood, waste wood, and wood from fruit trees, which we purchase exclusively from private ownership under official supervision, are available in sufficient quantities. There is no need to resort to tropical woods.
