The tabletop is made from recycled teak wood, it has a solid thickness of 10 cm (not laminated) and is refined with handcrafted glass inlays that allow you to see the old wood. Each individual component, every detail of this extraordinary dining table has been crafted by hand.

In addition to the 250 cm long version presented here, the dining table Deep Island is also available in other formats. From compact 160 x 90 cm to generous 400 x 140 cm, we usually have almost all sizes in stock. However, if you are missing a format or perhaps have a special request, we will be happy to accommodate that for you. Many of our dining tables can be ordered to your desired size,… at no extra charge.
The teak wood used for this dining table comes from old deconstruction projects on the islands Java and Bali. Instead of being charred into charcoal, the wood is processed by traditional handwork and used for durable furniture. For the Deep Island with a length of 250 cm, this means a CO₂ saving of around 250 kg.
