The traces of previous use of the solid beams have been adorned with wooden dowels and wooden inlays. An additional design element feature of the „Sky Island“ series is the glass insert, which allows a view into the interior of the tabletop. Finally, the tabletop received a protective layer of high-quality furniture wax in our in-house workshop. The table frame is made of raw steel in industrial design and was also handcrafted.

Glued reclaimed teak wood planks were used, which were finally brushed and waxed by hand. The use of reclaimed wood gives this dining table its very special appearance. The handcrafted solid tabletop rests on a vintage raw steel cross-shaped table base and offers enough space for 5–6 people. The inset glass has a thickness of 10 mm.
