The current dining table collection 2025 from Gerken Wohndesign

Also this year we present our current dining table collection for the year 2025. All models combine high-quality materials, sustainable production, and individual design. For our dining tables, we exclusively use recycled wood, wood from fruit trees, and leftover wood from old tree stumps. This conscious choice of materials not only ensures unique structures and surfaces but also promotes sustainable use of existing resources.
The table frames of our new collection are made of raw steel or stainless steel and emphasize the distinctive character of our dining tables. You can find various designs and versions in the respective product categories of our online shop „Der Tischonkel“ and in our over 6000 sqm large furniture exhibition in East Frisia Detern. Dining table made of recycled wood ATLANTA

The Dining table ATLANTA impresses with sustainable materials and a robust construction. The tabletop is made of recycled teak wood and has a thickness of 80 mm, achieved through a doubling technique. This construction not only provides a massive appearance but also makes the Dining table particularly attractive in terms of price-performance ratio.
The cross-shaped table frame is made of raw steel and finished with a black powder-coated surface. This combination gives the dining table a modern yet timeless appeal.

Dining table from the BROMO series – Unique pieces made from tree trunks

The Dining tables the BROMO series consist of solid tree trunks and are characterized by their natural, organic shape. Each model is a unique piece, designed in a slightly organically angular, oval, or round shape depending on the cutting technique.
The organically round tree discs are created by the horizontal cut from the area of the tree root, preserving a unique grain and natural edge structures.

The Dining table ELEMENTS combines recycled teak wood, glass, and steel into an extraordinary design. The construction is based on two outer solid wood beams made from recycled teak wood. The handcrafted Live edge on the inner areas of the wood beams gives the table an organic shape. The resulting gap, reminiscent of a natural river, is filled with a handcrafted glass top, creating a unique design element.

The Dining table ETERNIA ROOT impresses with its extraordinary tabletop, made from glued tree slices of old teak tree stumps. These 30 to 50-year-old tree stumps give the Dining table its distinctive appearance and natural structure. Special attention was paid to ensuring that the natural Live edge is preserved both on the outer sides and partially in the inner area.

The resulting gap between the Tree slices has been refined with a glass top through elaborate handcrafted work, creating a harmonious contrast between wood and glass.

The Dining table ETERNIA combines traditional craftsmanship with modern design. The 6 cm thick tabletop made of recycled Solid wood was glued together with great care and impresses with its natural structure. A special design element is the recreated river, which has been refined with a hand-cut glass top.
The surface is brushed and waxed; upon request, the tabletop can also be ordered in a lacquered version.

The Dining table EXPRESSION is an extraordinary design piece, made from solid tree slices of old teak tree stumps from the reforestation areas of Java in Indonesia. These 30-50 year old tree stumps are removed from the ground to make room for new plants and are crafted into unique dining tables through traditional handwork.
The tabletop has been carefully designed so that the natural tree edges remain both in the outdoor and indoor areas of the dining table from the dining table collection of GERKEN Wohndesign. The inner edges have also been enhanced with glass inlays that reveal the original wood structure and create an optical depth.

The dining table X-Pression stands on a half-moon shaped table base, which is available in two variants:

The Dining table Lakeside is made from a solid wood plank of a Suar-tree trunk and captivates with its natural shape. The unique growths and cracks in the Wood have been deliberately refined with glass inserts to highlight the original structure of the wood.
The tabletop for this Log table is finely sanded and finished with a satin matte coating that preserves the natural character of the wood while providing a durable surface.
