Note: This extraordinary coffee table was artistically carved from a tree root of the lychee tree in pure handwork. It is an absolute unique piece that will never again exist in the depicted form and structure. The tree root is old wood, which is not suitable for industrial use. We at „GERKEN Wohndesign“ believe that it is absolutely unnecessary to manufacture furniture from protected wood species. The lychee is a fruit tree that becomes useless for the farmer due to its age, as it bears fewer fruits. The tree is removed to make room for new and productive trees.
