The frame for each dining table in the series is a handcrafted product made of brushed stainless steel or raw steel from the „Half Moon“ series. Since the tree slices have an internal Live edge, and naturally occurring growths, we utilize these features and embellish them with glass plates. The use of tree slices from the root area additionally creates a very impressive appearance.

Why do we make such tables? Quite simply,… in the 80s and 90s, teak forests in Indonesia were subjected to irresponsible deforestation. The tree stumps and roots were simply left in the forest floor. Teak wood is nearly indestructible,… and so the tree stumps still stand in the forests today. To make room for new fauna, these stumps are removed from the ground. From this material, we then cut the Tree slices, which were used in this Wooden table were used.
