Impressive Suar log dining table with a fabulous size of 278 x 201 cm

Formats: A truly impressive log dining table introduces itself here. Such finds are extremely rare for us as well, and to this day we have only found one certified company that makes the effort to utilize the roots of these trees. Typically, the wood of the Suar is used for the construction of pallets. Since the Suar is a fruit tree, it usually comes from cultivated farming and not, as many would suspect, from the rainforest. We completely refrain from using protected woods, as we believe there is no need to use tropical trees. There is enough material available that is not suitable for industrial use, such as this impressive log that we have transformed into a „hammer“ log table.
Properties: The Suar is a very fast-growing tree. By the age of 50, it has already reached a considerable size and is removed due to declining yield in old age to make room for new trees. Due to the rapid growth, this wood has hardly visible growth rings.

Note: The dining table shown made from a log was produced from Suar wood. Since 2013, we are required to provide proof of origin for each piece of wood. This is done through authorities in the country of origin, which confirms the legal use of the tree. The authenticity of this certificate is checked for authenticity by the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE) before the goods arrive. The issuing authority and the BLE are linked through a system called FLEGT to prevent black sheep from having a chance.
