Oval dining table with a 10 cm thick tabletop – true traditional craftsmanship

What makes the oval dining table so special?
Quite simply: The solid tabletop with a thickness of an astonishing 10 cm. No tricks, no doubling – here you get 100% recycled solid wood in its original form. The individual solid wood planks have been glued together by hand, brushed, and waxed to ensure that the natural structure of the old wood is properly highlighted. Old visible traces from previous use – such as joints or old connections – have been refined with wooden inlays in meticulous craftsmanship. Each dining table thus has a unique surface that makes it an incomparable one-of-a-kind.

Reclaimed wood meets design – With this dining table, a look into the past is included

In the center of the tabletop, there is a handcrafted glass inlay. It is not only an optical highlight but also allows you to look into the past of the wood. You can see the growth rings, knots, and grains, so all things that you definitely won't find in a conventional dining table from the furniture store.

The frame of our oval dining table is made of raw steel in the popular industrial design – shaped like a crescent moon, extremely stable and handcrafted from sheet steel.
Do you want it a bit more subtle, or is the industrial look not your thing? No problem – alternatively, we also offer the table with a crescent frame made of brushed stainless steel.

Choose your desired size – Our dining tables adapt to you

The dining table shown here comes in the format 280 x 140 cm – ideal for 10–12 people. But sizes 200 x 100 cm, 240 x 120 cm, or other size variants are usually available in stock and can be with you within 1 to 2 weeks. In the dining table configurator at tischonkel.de you can also choose your individual desired size. From oval 160 x 80 cm to oval 400 x 200 cm,… everything is possible. The frame will of course be adjusted proportionally so that your table can withstand any load.
