A root table brings more than just the function of a coffee table. It comes from an old tree that was irresponsibly felled decades ago to satisfy the insatiable hunger for teak garden furniture. Today, these roots, which are nearly indestructible, are extracted from the ground to make way for new flora.

Details on format and processing

The coffee table made from a root has a width of approximately 100 cm, a depth of 80 cm, and a comfortable height of 40 cm. The tabletop consists of a precisely fitting glass plate with a thickness of 10 mm, which has been exactly adapted to the shape of the root wood. The surface of the root has been hand-cut, finely sanded, and finally refined with a high-quality furniture wax.
