The Dining table EXPRESSION is an exclusive model, almost a work of art, made from the solid wood of old teak trees. This wood comes from the tree stumps of irresponsible deforestation in the 80s and 90s. Today, in special reforestation programs the old roots with the attached solid tree stumps are removed to give new flora space to unfold. From these historically significant materials, we create a dream table from Solid wood, which is unparalleled. When manufacturing the solid tabletop, care is taken to ensure that the original tree edge is preserved both inside and outside. Growths, weathering, and cracks in the solid wood are artistically worked on and adorned with glass inlays.
A special eye-catcher is the traces of long weathering. Since the tree stumps slumbered in the ground for decades, the upward-facing cut surfaces show clear signs of weathering. We try to visibly incorporate these expressive traces of the past into every table to further emphasize the age and history of these solid woods.
