Today we present to you the dining table „Fusion“ made of wood. Its unusual shape with the integrated glass top resembles a landscape with a small lake. The tabletop is made of 10 cm solid teak wood beams, which are intricately glued together. The surface of the tabletop is lightly brushed to highlight the texture of the wood. The dining table stands on a table base in the shape of a crescent moon and, like the unusual tabletop and the glass insert, is handcrafted and made of raw steel in industrial design.

Our design is as unusual and individual as our customers themselves. None of the dining tables from our house are off the shelf. Each individual table is handcrafted from all individual parts, making it a unique piece.
The special thing about our dining tables begins with the selection of materials. We exclusively use recycled Wood, waste wood from old tree trunks and roots, as well as wood from fruit trees that is not suitable for industrial furniture production.

Unique dining tables made of wood by GERKEN Wohndesign,… what do we need to consider when choosing the size?

The dining table „Fusion“ admittedly has quite an unusual shape,… but how many people can fit at this table?
The dining table presented in this article has a total length of approx. 700 cm all around. Using the old rule that a seat at the dining table requires about 70–80 cm to avoid feeling cramped, this results in a number of up to 9–10 people.
We deliver the dining table „Fusion“ from a length of 200 cm up to 450 cm. If the stock does not currently show your desired size, we are happy to have a dining table made to your specifications.

• 200 x 100 cm = space for up to 8 people
• 250 x 120 cm = space for up to 10 people
• 300 x 140 cm = space for up to 12 people
• 400 x 150 cm = space for up to 14 people

The furniture store of GERKEN Wohndesign is a medium-sized family business. Unlike many other furniture stores, we are not bound to any purchasing association. All furniture from our house is developed by us and manufactured exclusively for us. This clearly sets us apart from other furniture stores and allows us to continually offer unusual and distinctive one-of-a-kind pieces.
