Luxurious dining table made of wood „Expression“

The term „dining table made of wood“ usually refers to a normal, perhaps even plain dining table,... four corners,... four legs,... that's all.
The dining table presented here from the series „Expression“ was made from the wood of the teak root. By using root wood, the tabletop gains a beautiful and multifaceted structure that reveals new shapes with each viewing. The individual wood elements for this dining table were simply sliced, and the naturally given shapes in the interior of the tabletop were left untouched.
The resulting gaps were finally adorned with glass inlays made by pure handwork. This dining table, with interesting glass inlays and a frame made of brushed stainless steel, is of course a unique piece,... a table that will not be found a second time.
As an alternative to the rectangular shape, we also offer dining tables in natural form, depending on the availability of raw materials. In line with the series Expression, you will also receive coffee tables from our house from the series „Natural Landscape“ and „Lakeside„, which were inspired by the concept of the series „Expression“.

Even in furnishing, the theme of „sustainability“ can be at the forefront. The wood used for this dining table comes from the area of the teak tree root and is extracted from the ground in areas for reforestation (teak plantations). This wood is not used in industrial furniture construction and is usually processed into charcoal.
Smaller quantities are also used by smaller family businesses to promote traditional Javanese and Balinese handicrafts (carvings).
By not burning and recycling these woods, between 60 and 100 kg of CO₂ is not released per square meter of tabletop and remains stored in the tabletop.
