When is a custom coffee table the right choice?

We know that not every living room is the same and not every interior style can be perfectly implemented with a standard size. A coffee table over 140 cm in length, for example, is ideal for large U-shaped sofas or spacious rooms with loft character. But what if you need exactly 153 cm? Or a smaller depth of only 35 cm? That’s exactly when a custom table comes into play.

  What should you consider when choosing a custom table?

  A custom coffee table should not only look beautiful and fit into its new environment, but it should also function perfectly.
  Therefore, we recommend:

  • Adequate clearance: Plan 30–40 cm of walking space around the table

  • Appropriate height for the sofa: Ideally 35–45 cm – comfortable and proportional to the sofa

  • Easy-care surface or natural feel? You can choose between lacquered, oiled, or waxed wood surfaces

  • Choose the frame consciously: Whether half-moon, trapezoid, sled base, or round tube, each frame has its effect in the room. Additionally, we offer our frames made of raw steel or brushed stainless steel. For questions about the possibilities of a custom-made table, our staff will be happy to advise you.
