Interesting Metal Decoration

Polished aluminum is generally easy to maintain. Dust can be easily removed with a soft, dry cloth. To keep the brilliant mirror shine long-term, you can use a commercial metal or aluminum polish if needed.

It depends on the material. Aluminum does not rust but can become matte (oxidize) over time outdoors. Iron objects develop rust outside – often desired as "noble rust" patina. Please refer to the respective product description.

Many of our figures are made using the sand casting process. They are usually hollow inside to keep the weight manageable but still have a very heavy, high-quality feel and thick wall thickness that clearly distinguishes them from sheet metal products.

Our objects in the "Aviator" look (rivets, airplane parts style) as well as raw, dark iron fit perfectly. They create a cool, modern contrast to warm wood, leather furniture, and brick walls.

We rely on true craftsmanship. Our metal objects are often cast, welded, and polished by hand. Small irregularities in the surface are characteristics of this artisanal production and add to the charm of the unique piece.
