A vase doesn’t have to be delicate. At tischonkel.de you will find vases that are confident sculptures themselves. We rely on materials with character that perfectly match our solid wooden tables. Instead of fragile porcelain, you will find rustic wood and heavy metal with us, often in exciting combinations.

  • Wooden vases: Often crafted directly from teak root stocks. Nature determines the shape. Every crack and grain makes the vase a unique piece.
  • Metal vases: Whether made of shiny polished aluminum or dark, rough iron – these vases bring the cool industrial look into your home.

Function and Decoration

Many of our solid vases are so expressive that they also work as pure decorative objects without content – especially the large floor vases. If you want to fill them, they are excellent for dried flowers, grasses, or branches. For fresh flowers, we recommend using a waterproof insert for wooden vases.

Handcrafted Quality

We value craftsmanship. Our metal vases are often made using sand casting, our wooden vases are hand-carved and polished. These lively surfaces differ significantly from industrial mass products and bring warmth and authenticity to the room.

FAQ: Questions about Wood & Metal Vases

Are the wooden vases waterproof?

Wood is a natural material that expands and contracts when moist. Many of our solid wooden vases are therefore primarily designed as dry vases (for grasses, branches, artificial flowers) or pure decorative objects. If you want to use fresh flowers, we strongly recommend using a suitable glass or plastic insert to protect the wood from standing water.

Which materials are used?

We rely on materials with character: For wooden vases, we often use teak root wood or recycled old wood with very lively grain. Our metal vases are mostly made of heavy aluminum (polished or raw look with cast structure) or iron for the industrial style.

Is every wooden vase unique?

Yes, absolutely. Especially our root wood vases are shaped by nature. Cracks, knots, and shapes differ in every piece. You are guaranteed to receive a one-of-a-kind item that does not exist twice.

How do I care for the vases?

Aluminum metal vases are low-maintenance and can be wiped with a slightly damp cloth. Wooden vases should only be dusted dry. To refresh the wood grain, you can occasionally use colorless furniture wax or care oil.

Are there also large floor vases?

Yes, we offer a selection of impressive XXL floor vases, both made of metal and solid wood. These are perfect as standalone sculptures in a room corner, next to the fireplace, or in the entrance area.
