Our wooden bowls (e.g. made of teak or suar) are mostly untreated or finely oiled. They are excellent for dry fruit (apples, nuts) or packaged foods. For moist dishes or salads, we recommend regularly caring for the bowls with suitable edible oil.
How do I care for metal trays?
Metal trays (aluminum or iron) are very easy to maintain. Dust and fingerprints can be easily removed with a slightly damp cloth. Please avoid scratchy sponges or aggressive scouring agents, especially on polished aluminum surfaces.
Is every bowl unique?
Yes, absolutely. Especially with our root wood bowls, the natural growth of the tree determines the shape. No bowl is identical to another in grain, shape, edge flow, and color play. You are guaranteed to receive a one-of-a-kind piece.
