Which bottles fit into the log racks?

Our handcrafted wine racks are generally designed for standard wine bottles (0.75l Bordeaux or Burgundy bottles). Since the holes are often hand-carved into the solid log, width and depth may vary slightly – fitting the most common formats.

Do the tall log racks tip over easily?

No. We use solid hardwood (e.g., Suar, Lychee, or Teak). A man-height wine rack made from a single log has such a high own weight that it stands extremely securely and stably.

What does "recycled wood" mean for the racks?

For many of our wall racks and bar cabinets, we use old wood from demolished buildings, bridges, or old fishing boats. This wood has been carefully refurbished but retains its history, cracks, and sometimes even old paint residues – perfect for the industrial vintage look.

Do I need to maintain the wood?

Our wooden racks are mostly waxed or lacquered. It is sufficient to dust them dry or with a slightly damp cloth. To preserve the shine and depth of the grain in natural log racks, an annual treatment with colorless furniture wax is recommended.

Are the racks unique pieces?

Absolutely. Especially for pieces made from a single log or root, the natural growth of the tree determines the shape. No rack is like another – you receive a genuine piece of nature.
