The massive tabletop consists of glued tree slices from an old teak tree stump aged about 30 to 40 years. The natural live edge and the weathering-induced deformations have been carefully preserved, creating the unique aesthetic of this coffee table.
The centrally left open area of the tabletop offers a fascinating insight into the wood's origin. This area was crafted by hand with an ornate glass inlay that completes the table's design and emphasizes its exclusivity. The tabletop is 7 cm thick, fully solid, and not laminated, further highlighting the quality of this piece of furniture.
