Oval Tree Table / Coffee Table "Lakeside" made of solid teak wood – handcrafted unique piece from an old tree trunk
The oval tree table Coffee Table Lakeside is a true one-of-a-kind and impressively combines the original power of nature with careful craftsmanship. This coffee table was made from a solid slice of teak wood taken from the lower root area of an old tree trunk. The resulting grain is particularly expressive and reminiscent of the characteristic structures of root wood.
A central design detail is a naturally formed growth knot located in the center of the tabletop. This was refined with a glass plate in elaborate handwork. The inserted glass inlay is 10 mm thick and emphasizes the uniqueness of the wood by revealing the original structure of the tree trunk.
The tabletop is on average 8 cm thick, not laminated, but solid wood – an important quality feature that makes the tree table "Lakeside" a durable and robust piece of furniture.
The oval tabletop is supported by three V-shaped legs made of brushed stainless steel. These elements were also crafted purely by hand and provide not only stability but also a stylish contrast to the rustic wood structure.
