With this reclaimed wood dining table, the term "sustainability" takes on a whole new meaning. The massive tabletop consists of glued solid wood planks with an impressive thickness of 9 to 10 cm. The solid wood planks were painstakingly glued together and hand-brushed to highlight the beautiful wood structure. The processing marks from the previous use of the massive beams were decorated with wooden dowels and wood inserts in fine detail. An additional design element of the "Deep Island" series are the glass inlays, which allow a view into the interior of the tabletop.
Finally, the tabletop received a protective layer of high-quality furniture wax in our in-house workshop.
The table frame in the shape of a crescent is made of raw steel and was also handcrafted before being finished with an industrial design coating.

The reclaimed wood used comes from old demolished houses and bridges on the islands of Java and Bali, where the individual components of this coffee table are pre-fabricated individually to your desired measurements in small family businesses. After the semi-finished tables arrive at our warehouse, the individual parts are refurbished in our in-house workshop (e.g. brushing and waxing of the wooden parts) and assembled.
