With this reclaimed wood dining table, the term "sustainability" takes on a whole new meaning. The massive tabletop consists of glued solid wood planks with an impressive thickness of 9 to 10 cm. The solid wood planks were carefully glued together and hand-brushed to highlight the beautiful wood structure. The processing marks from the previous use of the solid beams were decorated in fine work with wooden dowels and wooden inserts. An additional design element of the "Deep Island" series are the glass inlays that allow a view into the interior of the tabletop.
Finally, the tabletop received a protective layer of high-quality furniture wax in our in-house workshop.
The table frame in the shape of a half-moon is made of stainless steel and was also handcrafted before being finished with an industrial design finish.

The reclaimed wood used comes from old demolished houses and bridges on the islands of Java and Bali, where the individual components of this coffee table are pre-fabricated individually according to your desired dimensions in small family businesses. After the semi-finished tables arrive at our warehouse, the individual parts are refurbished in our in-house workshop (e.g. brushing and waxing the wooden parts) and assembled.
