The lion was crafted entirely by hand from recycled motorcycle parts. Numerous elements – valve covers, gears, chains, and other components of old motorcycles – were individually selected, processed, and joined into a powerful overall image through precise welding techniques. Particularly striking: The elaborately designed lion’s mane, consisting of hundreds of welded nails, gives the figure an impressive, almost lifelike volume.
This figure is excellently suited as architectural decoration, an art object in entrance areas, an eye-catcher in shop windows, or a sculpture in a hotel lobby. The lion appears strong, raw, and at the same time artistic – and can be used as a symbol of strength, presence, and character.
