The "Deep Island" series has become a bestseller in recent years. The tabletop is made from recycled wood from old houses in Java and Bali and has an impressive thickness of 9–10 cm. Due to the age of the wood, which ranges between 70 and 100 years, each table tells its own story and reflects the culture of the Javanese people. The dining table is not only solid but also durable and resilient... it is a dining table that future generations will remember us by.
There are two types of dining tables in the "Deep Island" series. The first option is a dining table with a completely closed solid wood tabletop without additional decorations. The second option is to equip the tabletop surface with individual glass inlays, handcrafted in freehand cutting. These glass inlays are selected proportionally to the size of the table and create a connection between the rustic look of the wood and a modern design element.
The half-moon frame is by far the most popular in the "Deep Island" series. Additionally, we offer various table frames suitable for different interior styles. The table frames are available in brushed stainless steel and silk-matte lacquered raw steel in industrial design and perfectly match the design of the tabletop. Furthermore, there is the option of custom manufacturing to adapt the table to your individual needs. Each dining table of the "Deep Island" series is handmade to ensure the highest quality. Production is carried out exclusively by small family businesses in Java and Bali to support local craftsmanship and promote the communities on site.
