Surface: The tree slab has been finely sanded and lacquered.
This extraordinary coffee table is already very rare due to its natural shape. The tabletop was cut from a solid tree slab and glued, sanded, and lacquered entirely by hand. The table frame was specially made for this coffee table and consists of stainless steel from the "Halfmoon" series. Since the tree slab in its original form and structure featured an inner tree edge as well as naturally occurring grafts, the intermediate space was elaborately decorated with a hand-cut glass plate. Using tree slabs from the root area additionally creates a very impressive look.
Note: All dining tables and coffee tables made from solid tree slabs are freshly sanded and coated with a high-quality furniture lacquer by our carpenters in our in-house workshop before delivery to ensure a beautiful surface upon delivery. Some of our coffee tables made from tree slabs are still displayed in the shop without refinishing.
