The tabletop consists of a cross-section of a teak tree, taken from the root area of a tree stump about 30 to 40 years old. The natural tree edge and the characteristic growths near the edge have been carefully preserved and artistically worked out to highlight the originality and uniqueness of the wood.
With a thickness of 8 to 9 cm, which is solid throughout and not laminated, the tree slice convinces with robustness and quality. The surface has been finely sanded and sealed with wax to emphasize the natural structure of the wood while providing optimal protection.
The coffee table stands stable on three V-shaped legs made of raw steel. The frame has been finished with an industrial design finish that perfectly complements the rustic charm of the tabletop and gives the table a contemporary, robust look.
