The dining table "Deep Island Tree Leg" is more than just a piece of furniture – it is a fusion of history and craftsmanship. With an impressive length of approx. 220 cm and a massive slab thickness of approx. 9–10 cm, this table becomes the undisputed centerpiece of your dining room. Crafted from recycled teak wood from old houses on Java and Bali, each table tells its own story, up to 100 years old.

The special feature of the "Deep Island" series is the combination of rustic old wood with modern elements. The table top is equipped with artfully incorporated glass inlays, which were adapted by hand in a freehand cut. These glass details open up the view into the interior of the wood and form an exciting contrast to the massive, brushed surface. The heavy top is supported by a modern table base in "Tree Leg" design.

Sustainability and Craftsmanship

The old wood used comes from demolished buildings and bridges on the islands of Java and Bali. The tables are prefabricated locally in small family businesses, which supports local craftsmanship. In our workshop, each table is then finally refurbished and sealed with natural waxes.
